Perfect Fit Blinds General information
Our perfect fit blinds are produced using a hard wearing aluminium frame section available in white, dark brown and golden oak to compliment the generally used upvc casement window profiles that are out there. Within the frame we can incorporate any of the spectrum of colours and fabrics that we have available in our 25mm venetian, 20mm pleated and roller ranges.
The frame profile itself is quietly unobtrusive at 38mm (1 1/2”) x 26mm (1 1/32”), it is designed to sit neatly and integrally within the unused 'cavity' of the windows glazed area, the protruded lip of the securing upvc frame section and the outer limit of the locking handle. Within these confines a perfect fit blind can be sited using the beaded frame itself as a sound fixing point for the pressure locking brackets - no drilling, screwing or holes required and critically all without restricting the use of the window or door.
Size restrictions per unit are maximum at 1500mm (59") wide and 1850mm (72") drop, although this appears limiting, because you are covering the individual glazed areas of the window there are not many domestic upvc windows that will be outside of these restraints. Unlike any other type of blind application the third dimension measurement that is critical is the bead depth (depth between the face of the glass and the face of the uvpc frame), this is important in the fact that this is the 'cavity' that the blind is utilising and as long as this measurement falls between 16mm to 24mm the appropriately sized bracket will ensure a tight, secure fit. Other tolerances outside of these parameters are possible but are not offered within our online offers, and are only possible as part of our measure and fit service where technical know how needs to be aired.
Within the above measurements we do not make any other allowances when producing the complete unit and therefore it is essential that the glazed size or gasket to gasket (rubber or black plastic strip that fits between glass and upvc frame) size is ultra accurate.
